The first few weeks of capstone have been interesting. We’ve done a lot of brainstorming exercises. We reviewed other student’s blogs from last year and used the Osborn checklist to make our first presentation. Today we read through two articles about risk taking and what employers look for in employees. Risk taking improves confidence, along with other helpful outcomes. Employers like to hire people who are confident, proactive and good with people. My partner Charlie and I are ahead of the game because we already have a general idea as to what we are doing. We plan to renovate the old enclosure in the animal lab and make it into a multi-species enclosure. In fact, we have already began cleaning it out some. During the Osborn checklist project, we used this enclosure to brainstorm and came up with some interesting ideas. Together, we thought of a way to add extra floors into the enclosure for more arboreal species. This was a very useful experience, to come up with more details in our project. I look forward to continuing this class. http://userscontent2.emaze.com/images/e81491a4-2979-4bc0-95c4-7718162b2419/635309727659671186_W-Question_Osborne.gif Tags: #problem solving #collaboration #creativity
